Ode to Cweeks Part Deux

Where is part one you might be asking? In the bowels of cyberspace...

So...I wrote this, with what I thought to be, BEEYOUTIFUL ode to cweeks...and then...well sorry chris but this submission process fucking SUCKS! Internal 500 Server error.

Thanks man. Thank you for all that you have done for people all over the world. Thank you for inspiring us with your art, pushing us with your words, and teaching us with your articles. You seriously have no clue how much you influence us. Maybe that’s part of your magic. Who knows. Not a peon like me.

I have leaned more from this man than I could ever dream possible. How many of you out there remember back to your first days of photography? The huge learning curves, the lingo, bullshit acronyms like DOF (Depth of field for you new guys) etc. I honestly do remember the first time I heard two of my friends talking about depth of field. We were standing in line at a Chipotle and looking at the fancy B&W’s on their wall. I was lost, middle light in focus the rest blown out. I went home and looked it up. Still no clue. I went to borders and read books…they explained it but it was like someone explaining to you the formula for the frequency of lightwaves to tell you why a rainbow was beautiful…then…it just happened…I saw THIS [link] only did I get DOF but I understood its purpose and how it can exemplify not just itself but how it actually creates the photograph as a whole. This is ONE example of many in his gallery.

With the first set of words from the heart…to relive it just seems contrived...god I suck. Take it for what it is though…a heartfelt thank you
